2025 Sungkai Ramadhan

On March 23, 2025, BSES hosted a special organizational meetup in celebration of the holy month of Ramadhan. Attendees include BSES Staffs, and RMN. The event served as a meaningful opportunity for members to come together, strengthen their bonds, and reflect on the spirit of togetherness and gratitude that Ramadhan inspires. The gathering included a series of light talks, and a communal iftar, fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere for everyone in attendance.

 

Townhall 2025​


On March 11, 2025, BSES held its annual gathering, a significant event that coincided with the holy month of Ramadan. The occasion was marked by a sense of community and reflection, culminating in a mass iftar, where employees and attendees broke their fast together. The CEO delivered an impactful speech, addressing key topics such as the company’s KPIs, updates on employee bonuses, and the latest developments regarding the company’s stock performance. This gathering not only reinforced the company’s values but also strengthened the bond among employees during this spiritually significant time.

 

Excel Training 


On March 5–6, 2025, the Training Unit organized an Excel training program for staff, covering intermediate to advanced skills. The session included hands-on exercises on pivot tables, data validation, complex formulas, macros, and data visualization. Participants gained valuable insights to enhance productivity, optimize workflows, and improve data-driven decision-making.

 

Taklimat e-Filing bersama LHDN​

On February 25 2025, the training unit organised a sharing session regarding e-Filing in collaboration with LHDN. This session helps delivering the latest updates and features of the e-Filing system, ensuring up-to-date changes were known. Staff got to learn how to submit their tax returns both efficiently and accurately, with a focus on minimizing errors. Practical tips were also shared to help participants avoid common mistakes during the tax submission process, and they got to gain valuable insights on how to ensure compliance with LHDN regulations.
 

COO Talk Session

BSES has a strong tradition of holding regular meetups to foster communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among employees. These gatherings include COO Talk Sharing sessions, where leadership shares insights, company updates, and strategic directions. These sessions serve as valuable platforms for employees to engage, exchange ideas, and stay informed about key developments within the organization.

HSE Toolbox

BSES also organizes tool-box sessions through the HSE Unit, which focus on safety awareness and best practices. These sessions are aimed at ensuring employees are well-informed about safety protocols and procedures to promote a secure working environment. Topics covered during these toolbox sessions may include hazard identification, risk assessments, emergency response procedures, and the latest safety regulations. The sessions encourage active participation, allowing employees to ask questions, share their experiences, and reinforce the company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all.

 

BSES HSE Induction 2025 for BSES and HEXIDE staffs

On March 6, the HSE Unit organized a mass induction session for BSES and Hexide staff, conducted by Mr. Shukree with assistance from Ms. She Rada. The session, held at Maragang Room, aimed to remind employees with essential safety protocols, company policies, and workplace best practices.

Bowling BSES 2024​

The Bowling event took place on March 9, 2024, at 1Borneo Hypermall, serves as an opportunity to foster stronger connections among BSES staff in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. More than just a recreational activity, this event aimed to cultivate teamwork, camaraderie, and a positive workplace culture.

Participants engaged in friendly competition while also having the chance to take home exciting prizes from the lucky draw, adding to the excitement of the day. Such initiatives reflect our commitment to creating an inclusive and dynamic work environment where employees feel valued and motivated.
